This man is Pastor of Overcoming With Joy Breakthrough Ministries International Church in Atlanta, Ga and husband of the beautiful Ellen Marie Adams. Also endowed with a Prophetic Ministry, Ellen Marie Adams is a native of Newark New Jersey, a powerful songstress and Assistant to her husband in ministry. Pastor Adams is on the move for God by displaying the Power Of God through faith-filled prayer In Jesus Name! As he yields to the Holy Spirit many are brought into the presence of the Lord and are healed, delivered and set free. This native of Atlanta is Pastor & Founder of Overcoming With Joy Breakthrough Ministries International Church in Atlanta, Ga. This former R & B local artist of the late 80's was called into the ministry in 1991. Going through various health problems as a child, Henry Adams Sr & Alma Adams was told by doctors that their child?s life would not be long and if he did make it out of the hospital, that he wouldn?t make it past 7 years old. Alma Adams believed God in that situation and her son is still here today. At age 7, Pastor Adams faced another trial; he was a victim of child molestation at a community fair. This trial had a very big impact on his life but still like the childhood health problem, the blood of Jesus Christ too has overcome this. God has given him an awesome testimony! Pastor Adams accepted his call to minister in 1991. He then was ordained Pastor in July of 1996 by an apostolic ministry in Atlanta. Louis Adams is currently the author of Diary of a Shattered Spirit.
This book reveals the story of a man that stands when all odds are against him, a near death experience that will change your life, and a reality of Christianity that will slap you in the face!
Since April 2001, he has established the Overcoming With Joy Outreach Program Inc. Through Overcoming With Joy's Knock Out Hunger Program, Pastor Adams provides dinners to the hungry & homeless community. The Children?s community Toy Box serves over several hundred children yearly at Christmas time. Overcoming With Joy also work with other agencies to connect the homeless individual to the resources needed to become self-sufficient. Pastor Adams is very active in the community, where he is involved in many organizations that strengthen the area and provide human services to the public. Pastor Adams also writes spiritual warfare poetry that ministers to the deep inner Spirit of man. Pastor Adams second book is scheduled for release in early 2006
