Remember that you have choices even if you do not know what they are. Even if the place that you are in doesn't feel like a choice, you have a choice and somewhere along the line a 'choice' that you made has brought you to where you find yourself. You also have a choice to be responsible for your own life and live your life consciously. No one can help you unless you make a choice to ask for help and recognize that you are responsible for your own life and own happiness. If you make a choice towards certain things, there are consequences to that choice. If you overindulge in something you may have to pay a steep price. Over indulgence in food, alcohol and drugs can cause many hardships, discomfort, with physical and emotional pain. That choice can cost you years of youth, friendships, important connection with family, the job that you put years into, your health and even loss of life. A choice towards an obsessive relationship can cost you everything too. You could lose your freedom, your happiness, your tenderness, you personal power, and again your life. You have a choice of what words to say. To encourage, discourage, to fight or to make amends. All with the choice of your words. You have the choice of what to remember over and over again or to let it go and move ON! Again that choice could cost you years. When an opportunity comes you have a choice to take it or to let it pass you by because of your fear, grief; or because of believing a false thought that you are not worthy. You ARE worthy, and you can make that choice to call yourself worthy. You can choose to speak the positive, or you a choose to complain. You can choose to experience deep joy speak the positive, or you a choose to complain. You can choose to experience deep joy in everything, everyone, and every creature in your life, or you can choose to see and live the negative. You can choose to discount all of your strength or you can choose to say, I'm strong, healthy and making a difference right now. You can choose to believe negative thoughts about yourself or you can choose to form a gorgeous picture of yourself. You can chose to work and pay off your debt or you can choose to be underemployed, and the consequences of this choice might be poverty. If you are sick you can choose to see yourself healthy and healed; and get up, get dressed and get out of the house, or you can continue to be sick in your bed and continue on with a NO-LIFE choice. You can choice to see and feel that everything in your life right now has been your responsibility and you can choose to have a different life. But everything takes time. It took time to get to the desperate state that you may now find yourself and it also takes time to correct the state. But it will correct if you keep at it consistently. When you can choose the food that you eat you can transform your body by those choices. Make a choice to lead your life by the joy that you feel and you will have a blessed life. You can choose to make your life something worth living and you can choose to make your own opportunities. Every choice that you make in this life, leads you further on the path that you are on. If that choice is one of destruction, then you are going to continue on down. If the choice is one of transformation of a life that is no longer working, that choice is going to bring you out of the darkness of your life. But you must continue on with the correct choices for the ship to turn. One day you will wake up and be amazed with your life. Sometimes you can only choose one thing at a time, other times you have to make all these choices at one time. You can choose to let yourself be rushed, or you can choose to do it in a thoughtful manner asking for wisdom. Remember every choice has a consequence.
